Set up DM auto-reply
Reply instantly to DMs that contain a keyword. Perfect for FAQs, price lists and link requests.
Before you start
- A connected Instagram account with AutoDM switched on.
Open Instagram → DM auto-reply
In the sidebar open Instagram → “DM auto-reply”, then click “New DM automation”.
Step 1: Setup
Pick a template or set it up manually, give the automation a name and choose the Instagram account whose inbox it should answer.
Step 2: Keywords to listen for
Add words like “price”, “course” or “link” and press Enter after each. When an incoming DM contains one, your reply goes out. “Contains” is the safest match.
Step 3: Compose the reply and launch
Choose the DM type: Text, Text + Button, Image/Video, Card or Voice message. Write your reply, check the preview and click “Launch automation”.
The cooldown stops the same person getting the same reply again and again in a short time.
