This page explains how to delete your DMGO Technologies account and remove the data we hold about you, including any Instagram data accessed through the Meta Platform. You are always in control of your data and can request its deletion at any time.

Option 1 - Disconnect Instagram (instant)
To remove a single Instagram account and its stored data (tokens, profile info, automations) without deleting your DMGO account:
- Log in to DMGO and open Dashboard - Instagram Accounts.
- Click Unlink next to the account you want to remove.
- The account's access token is revoked promptly. Related active-system data is then removed through the account lifecycle process; limited security logs or backups may persist temporarily where required.
Option 2 - Delete your entire DMGO account
- Log in to DMGO and open Dashboard - Settings.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
- Your sessions and connected-platform credentials are revoked promptly. Deletable profile, automation, integration, messaging, and related operational data is then purged or anonymized.
- You receive a deletion receipt. If a purge step fails, the recorded request can be retried without restoring account access.
Option 3 - Request deletion by email
Prefer that we handle it for you? Email team@dmgo.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request" from your registered email address. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing.
Option 4 - Revoke access from Instagram
You can also remove DMGO's access directly from Instagram at any time:
- Open Instagram - Settings - Apps and Websites (or Account Center - Connected experiences).
- Find DMGO and choose Remove.
- This revokes our access token. To also delete the data we already stored, use Option 1, 2, or 3 above.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, phone) and login credentials.
- Instagram access tokens and connected-account details (username, profile picture, account ID).
- Your automations and their configuration.
- Associated activity and message logs in our active systems.
Processing and Retention
Account access, active sessions, and connected-platform credentials are revoked promptly after a verified request. Deletion from active operational systems is staged so failures can be tracked and retried safely. Limited transaction, invoice, tax, payout, fraud-prevention, security, chargeback, and dispute records may be retained or pseudonymized where required for legal obligations or legitimate claims. Backup copies age out under the applicable backup lifecycle and are not restored for ordinary product use.
