Can DMGO get my Instagram banned?
How DMGO keeps your account safe, what is (and isn’t) in your control, and what to do if Instagram restricts you.
4 min readShort answer: DMGO is built the safe way — it is a Meta-verified Tech Provider that works only through Instagram’s official API, never messages anyone who didn’t interact with you first, and automatically stays inside Meta’s rate limits and 24-hour messaging window. But no tool on earth can promise zero risk, because suspensions are Meta’s decision — and they’re almost always about WHAT is sent and how people react to it, not the tool that sent it. Here’s what’s in your hands.
What DMGO does to protect you
Official Meta API only (you connect via Instagram’s own login — we never ask for your password). Replies go only to people who commented, replied to your story, or DM’d you. Hourly send caps, human-like pacing, and Meta’s 24-hour reply window are enforced automatically — even if a flow is configured to break them.

What’s in YOUR control
The words, links and offers in your automations. Avoid pushy or misleading copy, all-caps spam, shortened/sketchy links, and sending walls of messages. If many recipients tap “Report as spam”, Instagram acts on YOUR account — that’s the #1 real-world cause of restrictions.

Never run two automation tools on the same Instagram account — doubled API traffic looks like abuse to Meta.
If Instagram restricts or suspends you
The decision (and the appeal) sits with Meta, not DMGO — appeal inside the Instagram app: Settings → Account Status. Pause your automations while restricted. Raise a ticket with us and we’ll share your DMGO activity logs — proof of what was sent, when, and in reply to what — to support your appeal.
